Printed circuit board mount pressure sensors

With pressure ranges from 0-2 bar to 0-400 bar the ME662 piezo resistive sensor is ideal for accurate printed circuit board mount pressure measuring applications.

The element of the sensor is constructed using a single chemically resistant monolithic structure which supports an integral pressure sensing diaphragm. A thick film measuring bridge is printed on this diaphragm and fired at very high temperatures which results in a sensor element giving excellent performance.

The combined linearity, hysteresis & repeatability of the device is 0.1% to 0.75% of full scale depending on the pressure range.

Long term stability figures of less than 0.3% of full scale per year are equally impressive.

The housing which contains the sensor element offers a low cost method of mounting the device on the printed circuit board, and has a threaded tube fitting to allow the user to attach a remote pressure source.

This housing is of rugged construction giving stress relief to the sensor, and can be removed with a simple twist action making installation and retrofitting of sensors fast and simple.

The units can also  be integrated into customer specific housings and manifolds.
