The CXT-STA4919 high-temperature adjustable linear voltage regulator from Cissoid is part of their newly introduced CXT range of ICs designed specifically for automotive applications. This voltage regulator works with voltage input sources in the 4.5V-30V range and is able to generate any regulated voltage between 3V and 28V. CXT-STA4919 features self-protection by a built-in current limiter and thermal protection. It is adjustable from an external feedback resistor network and can be put in low-power disabled mode as and when needed. This voltage regulator saves space on the board and provides low thermal resistance due to its small footprint - it is delivered in a miniature 8-pin PSOIC8-EP package at only 3.99x4.98mm. Its operating temperature of up to 175°C is beyond the requirements of automotive standard AEC-Q100 Grade 0.
