Product Features

  • Transparent RS-232 to RS-485 data conversion
  • Baud rates 300 to 115.2k baud
  • Includes termination and biasing resistors
  • Isolated to 500Vrms
  • Temperature range of -25°C to +70°C

Applications

  • Non-compliant

The DIN-191 Converter module transparently converts RS-232 signal to RS-485 at standard baud rates between 300 and 115.2k baud. With the flow of data controlled by the module circuitry, this converter module does not need external handshaking signals. It also features isolation from RS-232 input to RS-485 utput by up to 500Vac. The DIN-191 is designed to compliment other DIN-100 series modules to build a complete data acquisition system.
