The C10 Type sensor from ICS-NH is designed for accurate static and dynamic pressure measurement, employing precision thin-film strain-gauge technology on a stainless steel substrate in a rugged 10 mm cup package. Engineered for exceptional durability and measurement integrity, this sensor series supports an extensive range of pressures โ€” from 1.6 bar up to 2,500 bar in standard configurations โ€” and offers high-temperature operation up to +260 ยฐC in the S5 variant.

At its core, the sensing element forms a complete Wheatstone bridge composed of highly stable thin-film resistors (nominal 5 kฮฉ) directly deposited onto the stainless-steel diaphragm. This monolithic construction eliminates adhesive interfaces, providing excellent long-term stability, minimal drift, and outstanding resistance to environmental influences such as temperature cycling and vibration. Typical performance includes a nominal bridge output of approximately 2 mV/V, resistor temperature coefficient (TCR) under ยฑ 25 ppm/K, zero offset within ยฑ 0.2 mV/V, and a temperature coefficient of span (TCS) between 0.01โ€“0.03 %/K.
