Applications

The HRG series of high power thin film chip resistors from Susumu expand on the original RG series by offering a greater power handling capability. Parts are available in a 1206 chip size, with resistance values ranging from 10Ω up to 100kΩ and with a power rating of 1W which is significantly larger than the existing same size resistor offerings. The resistors have short sided terminals but with wider bottom contacts to enable the higher power handling capabilities. The HRG series are AEC-Q200 compliant and have an operating temperature of between −55°C to +155°C which makes this range suitable for automotive applications.

  • Tolerance values available ±0.1% (B) and ±0.5% (D)
  • TCR values available of ±25 ppm/°C (P) and ±50 ppm°C (Q)

  • Maximum voltage of 200V
  • Temperature range of −55°C to +155°C
  • Thin film structure enabling low noise and anti-sulfur
  • Chip size of 1206 with wider bottom terminal enabling higher power capability (short side terminal)
  • Significantly larger power handling capability than existing same size resistors
