The PAT3042S high precision chip attenuator is part of the PAT series of thin film attenuators designed for high precision applications from Susumu. The PAT3042S model has a 1612 chip size and is available in an attenuation range of 0dB to 10dB in 1dB steps, 16dB and 20dB. This series utilises a similar wrap-around terminal to that of regular chip resistors making them easy to mount. One chip attenuator covers a wide frequency range of 3GHz (50Ω impedance) or 2GHz (75Ω impedance). These attenuators have been developed to withstand operating temperatures between −55°C to +125°C.
