High Precision Current Sensing Surface Mount Resistor

The FRCS2512 is a high-precision current sensing resistor built with VPG’s Bulk Metal® Foil technology, housed in a compact 2512 SMD package. Engineered for demanding applications such as power supplies, motor control, battery monitoring, and instrumentation, this resistor offers excellent accuracy and thermal stability. Featuring a four‑terminal Kelvin configuration with wrap-around terminations, it minimizes parasitic effects and ensures precise current measurement. With resistance values ranging from 100 mΩ to 1 Ω, tight tolerances of ±0.1%, and ultra-low TCR of ±5 ppm/°C, this component delivers fast thermal response and minimal drift. Rated for 1 W power at 70 °C (up to 2.5 W working power) and with exceptional load‑life stability (≤±0.01%) and short-time overload resilience, the FRCS2512 is ideal for long-term reliability in harsh environments.
