High Precision Pressure Sensor C8 Type

The C8 Type sensor from ICS-NH is designed for both static and dynamic pressure measurement, utilising precision thin-film strain-gauge technology on stainless steel in an ultra-compact 8 mm cup package. Engineered for extreme environments, this sensor supports a wide array of measurement ranges — from 25 bar up to 800 bar in its standard form — and accommodates high temperature operation up to +260 °C for the S5 variant.

Internally, the measurement element is formed as a full Wheatstone bridge made up of highly stable resistors (5 kΩ nominal) deposited directly onto the stainless steel body. This ensures minimal bond-creep effects, excellent immunity to environmental influences, and a robust mechanical structure with no additional sealing materials.  Typical performance includes a bridge output of approximately 2 mV/V, resistor temperature coefficient (TCR) under ± 25 ppm/K, zero offset under ± 0.2 mV/V, span stability with TCS (temperature coefficient of span) between 0.01-0.03%/K, and excellent isolation resistance (>10⁹ Ω at 100 V DC). This product is ideal for applications demanding high precision, high temperature resilience, and compact packaging — including aerospace, oil & gas exploration, industrial instrumentation, and other harsh-environment measurement systems.
