Miniature actively compensated pressure transmitter with 0 to 30 psi to 0 to 15,000 psi ranges and 5 to 32VDC supply. Offers voltage, current, bridge, I²C and SPI outputs with DO-160 Cat. H/R vibration testing
The ICS-NH MPT 6 Series is an actively compensated miniature pressure transmitter designed for demanding applications where compact size, high pressure capability and flexible output options are required. It uses a thin film stainless steel 17-4PH pressure sensor welded directly to the pressure port, with ASIC-based signal conditioning for application-ready electrical outputs. The transmitter supports pressure ranges from 0 to 30psi to 0 to 15,000psi, with the final pressure range defined by the customer and absolute pressure available on request. Housing materials include stainless steel options such as 304 or 316, while the sensing element is manufactured from 17-4PH stainless steel for robust pressure measurement in harsh environments. The MPT 6 Series offers several actively conditioned output options, including 0.5 to 4.5V ratiometric, 0.5 to 4.5V fixed, 0 – 10V fixed, 4 to 20mA current output, and digital I²C or SPI outputs. The ASIC also provides reverse polarity protection, short-circuit protection, EMC/ESD robustness, AEC-Q100 qualification and high voltage protection up to 33V.
For extreme temperature applications, a bridge output version is also available. These units can be supplied with a mathematical compensation model or remote electronics for a fully compensated configuration, supporting use where the sensing element operates beyond the normal electronics temperature range.
