The NVE ABL016-00E analog gear tooth sensors are versatile, wide airgap typically used with ferromagnetic gears and bias magnets. The sensor elements are spaced at 0.3mm for use with a recommended gear pitch between 0.6mm to 1.5mm and an operating frequency of 1MHz. The ABL016 series from NVE uses differential sensor elements that provide sinusoidal outputs and is a dual bridge sensor producing sine and cosine waveforms at the output to provide gear tooth direction information.
