Description
The SM124-10E smart magnetometer from NVE is designed to provide precise magnetic field measurements, detecting magnets even over 50mm away. It utilises Giant Magnetoresonance (GMR) technology, which is superior compared to the traditional Hall effect devices in terms of sensitivity (0-10 Oe / 0-1 mT linear range), precision (5% accuracy), speed (1kSps sample rate) and noise levels. This magnetometer is a digital device with minimal firmware requirements – it features programmable thresholds, offset and other values and magnetic field and calibration data from I2C interface with the calibration coefficients stored in a non-volatile memory. The SM124-10E comes factory calibrated to high accuracy and is available in ultraminiature TDFN6 package (2.5×2.5mm footprint).
