Description

The RPD uncompensated packaged pressure sensor series from Merit SensorTM is designed for applications which require a wide range of pressures to the backside of the sensing element. This pressure sensor series offers a pressure range from 0psi to 500psi with an operating temperature range of −40°C to +85°C and a typical average full-scale output of 150 mV. The RPD series from Merit SensorTM is a flexible platform with excellent media compatibility with its small, compact design is ideally suited for medical and industrial applications, utilising a piezoresistive Wheatstone bridge with a chemically etched silicon diaphragm.

  • Pressure ranges available from 0 psi up to 500 psi (closed bridge only)
  • Backside gauge pressure type avaialble
  • Compensated temperature −40°C to +85°C
  • Typical average full scale output of 150 mV
  • Impedance of 5kΩ (typical)
  • Port options available of gel tube/no gel, face seal or gel tube/gel (not available above 100psi)
  • Suitable for air, gases and liquids (to be determined on an application-by-application basis)
