Description

The HPS high power precision 4-terminal shunt resistor series from RARA offers a power rating of up to 250W on a suitable heat sink, with a maximum current limit of 387A (resistance value of 1mΩ). The HPS series is available with resistance values from 1mΩ to 100mΩ, tolerance options as low as ±0.05% and a maximum TCR of ±5 ppm/°C. Excellent short stability as low as ≤±0.02% at maximum current load for 1 hour and long term stability of ≤±0.2% after 1,000 hours.

  • Resistance options of 1mΩ, 2mΩ, 5mΩ, 10mΩ, 20mΩ, 50mΩ and 100mΩ
  • Tolerances options of ±0.05% (A), ±0.1% (B), ±0.5% (D) and ±1% (F)
  • Maximum working current of 387A at 1mΩ
  • Dielectric withstanding voltage of 500V AC for 60 seconds at a maximum leakage current of 2mA
  • TCR options of ±3 ppm/°C or ±5 ppm/°C
  • Short-term stability ΔR ≤±0.02%, ≤±0.03%, ≤±0.05% or ≤±0.1% for 1 hour at terminal & copper flange temperature ≤+60°C
  • Long-term Stability ΔR ≤±0.2% after 1,000 hours at terminal & copper flange temperature ≤+60°C
